He’s always there like the ground when you fall
watching you like a hawk
melting into your shadow
He knows your every weakness
he's witnessed all of your strengths
and knows you're most vulnerable moments
He knew you in the past
knows you in the present
and will see you in your future
he’s been there your entire life
watching your every move
he was there at your birth
he’s always there for comfort
right there by your side
fighting with you through your pain
Your father will always be there.
