Gift Poem
Moms and Dads
They do more than I think
Working even when I rest
Suffering through the rough times
Waiting for the joyful days to appear
Helping me with my boring tasks
While also doing their non-stop work
Dealing with my every random emotion
Working their hardest to set me straight
The things they do I don’t notice
All the wrongs they make right
Showing no sign of stopping
Even when the times get tough
Trying to always be positive
When it’s more than impossible
Directing me along my future path
While always by my side
