Trees In The Summertime
You are like the rain
You patter against my pain
You are the bearer of storms
Yet you keep me so warm
When the clouds recede
You are all that I need
And the rain makes the ground smell sweet
That scent somehow encases me
I'm happy the boy whom I call mine
Smells of the trees in the summertime.
