He Made Me Smile
The nerves racing through me,
the lump in my throat…
it was only getting worse as I inched closer...
He grinned and looked everyone in the eye,
thanking them and being gracious as always.
He always made me feel blessed for what I beared.
As I walked into his train of sight,
he looked up with a joyous smile.
I felt meaningful for a short moment of time…
He laughed and showed me his charming grin,
thanking me for my visit.
I walked away with pure optimism spread across my face.
I knew I would see him again and hopefully soon,
I knew I’d get the chance to feel that way again.

I wrote this poem about meeting one of my favorite actors this past September at a convention for the show that he is a star of, Jensen Ackles. He is the one of the stars of the show, Supernatural. It was a life-changing experience for me and I am getting the chance to meet him again this November.
