Drowning in a darkness of deep despair,

Believing the lies that I hear,

And seeing the truths not there.

See the rays of sunlight,

They shine upon my scars.

Reaching for my broken smile

Among the hidden stars.

Hearing the teardrops

Falling from my eyes.

Beneath my hidden secrets

And tell my stolen lies.

Bring me to the surface,

Give me air to breathe.

Let the sorrow show
Upon my stolen dreams.
