Magic Sunsets
Why do the tides crash against the beach and destroy my sand castles?
Each seashell I handpicked and carefully placed has washed away like the memories we shared.
How devastating.
Doesn’t the salty air bring you back?
I love walking the beach at sunset because it reminds me of the sunrises we shared...
How ironic.
Because you’ll never make it back to this peaceful place where the wind tickles the nape of your neck and the sun's rays emits warmth into your body when it was never there in the first place.
I think I’ll rebuild my sand castles.
