Wonder
you told me once that you didn't have a favorite color
you blamed it on the fact that you were indecisive and hesitant,
and plus, you added, there’s far too many options to decide on simply one
but I believe that it’s because you haven’t noticed all of the tints, shades, and tones,
the tiny details of this vibrant world
perhaps your favorite color is the sky at 3 a.m. right after the rain has created streams with only drops of water
or maybe it is the color that her eyes turn when the sun hits them at the right angle
or perhaps you believe that colors are merely reflections of light and they do not mean a single thing
but I know that
you haven’t explored this place enough
to know all of its small wonders
