My Rose

she was born
with many thorns
so,to those who behold
beware,and don’t try to hold
My Rose
she sits in my room alone
her petals are as black as Death’s throne
My Rose
wasn’t always this way
it happened on one very cold and cloudy day
that day, the freezing rain came
came,and took her family away
after school that day
when I went to the forest to play
I found a bunch of dead plant decay
I went through the dead decay
She was the only one that had survived
and to this day she is alive
