Hockey
From age five all I wanted to do was play hockey.
But on those skates, well I was pretty rocky.
The pads were always big and bulky.
But as a goalie, I was a major bully.
I could butterfly like no other
I could even beat my little brother.
At age ten we went on trips for tournaments and games
And still I was on the same team as James.
But now at sixteen it’s not the same
Maybe it’s my parents to blame
Though I no longer play the game,
I still love watching it all the same.
