Trapped

Sitting here in the dark
looking out at the light
wondering what is happening
upon the bright blue sky
the blanket of sky wrapped around the earth
letting the kids dance freely
but stay secured
while i just sit
in the safety of my house
waiting for some rescuers to come and save me
and bring me into the light.
