The mad world was furiously spiraling
and spinning farther from my reach
The hands of my clock
feverishly ticking
out of sync with its monotonous course
All my control
lost
My sanity
gone
Counting down to
destruction
Until everything known was
abruptly grasped by its shoulders
Insanity-
accepted
The confines collapsed
full force into you
And finally the constant chaos
was calmed by cadence
My world timelessly spinning
within your hands
