He is
He has eyes like the ocean frozen over
and maybe they’re just blue,
but they have a beauty that only I can see.
His words are gentle and affection leaks from every punctuation
and maybe they only sound that way in my ears,
but who else should hear them that way?
His body is warm and feels of everything a girl ever wanted
and maybe it’s average,
but it’s perfect in my arms.
His laugh is contagious and his smile is my joy
and maybe it’s just me and the desire to see him happy,
but that’s great for a relationship like ours.
His heart is made of pure gold and screams the words “love me”
and maybe It’s only painted gold,
but it’s enough for me to do so.
He is a gentleman and is as sweet as candy
and maybe that’s only for me,
but that makes it even sweeter.

This piece is actually written for my boyfriend of one year, one month, and 3 days. He's mentioned in my Narrative "Broken Hearted" If you'd like to check that out! This is basically about all those things that I like about him that others never seem to notice or think is just a "small thing".
