I know you are not dead
Much like I am not alive
Just a lifeless object
That can move itself
I know you are not dead
Whisper in my ear
Tell me no more of
That loyal Shakespeare
Tell me of the land
What it really is
In your undead eyes
Compared to mine
Non living
I know you are not dead
I know you can hear me
All your restless shuffling
Hath stopped long ago
Whisper in my ear
And tell me something
That you are not dead
And that there is hope yet
