You were light, airy, bubbly, bright, enigmatic;
you twisted my Guts inside out:
you left my heart dangling by a frayin string
my soul crumpled like wet clay
over the duration of sun soaked daus
spent at the beach
hiking rutted pathways
going out on actual days
me crooning any and all
songs in the midst of
your prescence
something shifted
in the foundation of our love
once so solid
it absolved
