Silent Wallflower
My words aren’t so great.
My fashion’s not so chic.
The art I create
Makes other’s sore
In the brain.
I can’t cook,
Or see,
I can’t bake
Or navigate the sea.
But I can watch
I can listen.
I can give you an image.
I can make your eyes leak.
With my silent wallflowers,
I can draw a story
From watching you eat.
I’ve tried to inspire,
Sometimes I make
A crumble instead.
My best interest
Isn’t a talented one.
But I can appreciate
And love what’s been done for me.
And, oh,
Do I appreciate you.
You and your wallflowers too.
