in a world where you can be anything be yourself.................unless you can be batman then be batman

They kissed their families goodbye,
now they die with tears in their eyes
They went to these places,
The screams at the soccer dome, the cafe, and the concert hall replaces bass’s
The terrorists killed 129 innocent people,
Some were businesspeople,
They hurt so many more
They laid on the floor,
Most people their injuries fatal ,
But some were nonfatal,
Which gives us hope,
That they will cope,
and their families will say their final goodbyes
with tears in their eyes.

"if you can be anyone just be you unless you could be Buffy Summers then be Buffy Summers"

This is really good. I love how you put it.

I don't just care about my friends-- I am head-over-heels in love with them.

Your piece truly captures the feeling of what death feels like and how others feel about it too. I encourage you to continue to write about events in history because there isn't enough of that around. Bonne chance.
