i am trying
to get back up
from the waves
that pulled me away
from you
my tears drown me
mixing with the ocean
i need to be free
but i cannot
because i am not with you
a hand reaches over
i grab on, it pulls me up
who is this man? this beautiful man?
not you, i whisper
as my concious drags me back
into the sinister sea
another hand grasps over my own
it feels familiar
it warms my cold heart
my eyes meet the owner of this hand
it is you
the waves vanish
