Seaside Town
Bile rises in my throat
When I think about the future-
How I’m probably going to be stuck here
In a dead end town
Where we inhale the salt of the sea
And simultaneously hope that the tide
Whisks us away
So we can drown underneath the waves
While our corpses take in oxygen bubbles
And I can finally breathe my first breath of life.
