Lost & Fiund
I could lose myself in the smell
of your ludicrously expensive
leather jackets. The curve
of your smile is enough to knock me
off my feet. Your unwillingness to
part with that unkempt beard that
leaves tickles against my chin,
forces me to surrender.
Surrender to the idea of you
being apart of every decision I make,
every early morning workout,
every moment that leads
to you and I becoming
them,
that couple,
us.
I could lose myself in the picture
we paint for ourselves throughout
our lives. The kids we create, and
care for, and cry with. The wrinkles
we share and the memories
that put them there.
