Smart girls don't know everything

Far from it

Just because I'm a "smart girl"

Does not mean I have all the answers

Does not mean I don't need guidance

Advice

Does not mean you should trust my decisions

I may be 'smart' but  I am still a 'girl'

Not a woman yet

I'm not as fluent in choices

-Life choices particularly-

As I am in Algebra I or English

Just because I'm mature for my age

Does not mean I'm ready to carry

Adult burdens

It just means I've seen a lot in my few years

Does not mean I am ready

To take on the responsibilities

Of a grown-up

Smart girls get stumped sometimes

As I am right about now

Smart girls do not have all the answers

Neither do they know everything

Because they-we-are still learning
