Hear the popping of the reain upon the roof top,

heels clicking along the ground within and not.

Headlights shinning through the rain and gloominess

Puddles forming all over,

while cars drive straight through them

with no remorse,

like a bully leaving their victim

The light within the clouds looks as though

it is a flower trying to bloom through the soil.

but the sun is unable to shine down,

upon this dismal looking day.

The lightning momentarily lights up the sky,

as the thunder causes the earth to tremble.

We go our separate ways as the rain continues to fall.

Our umbrellas are up, but no rain falls
