Math will be the Death of Me

Math.
Why Must we do math?
I would much rather love to sit and write than do algebra.
But they tell us,
"You'll need it someday."
But that is not true
The numbers float off the page
and form twisted words.
Every arithmetic problem
kills a set of words,
save the english language,
abolish math.
The seconds tick away much
too slowly
each one saying, your much
too lonly.
Lets write a story or two
and procrastinate the math
that we must do.
The funeral for the english language
will be held at 9:30
in Math class.
How Ironic.
