Silent nights and broken dreams
Where I cry and torment myself to sleep
And blame all my misfortunes
On my twisted heart, forever broken.
Long-lost friends and crushed romances
Mock my sorrow by pulling on my chains.
Throw away the key and laugh at me

The boys and girls from down the road
Come play by the home of my chains
Skipping around in their freedom as I stay sealed

A beastly form lays amoung the graceful blossoms
And the birds that sing their taunting songs silences
