Growing up playing outside
The crack of my little wiffle ball bat
the sound of my old toy jeep
the stains of grass of my knees
the humid summer air
the frizzing up of my little blonde hairs
playing with my neighborhood friends
family parties with all my favorite cousins
all fond memories of when everything was simple
as time has gone on things have changed
friends move away
family members make decisions that change it all
as everything has changed
the one thing that I'll always have
are all the memories
that i will always cherish
