Songs
I think back to the time we lost together
Of the fun we had, and the moments we shared
It floated away like strong wind and feather
I am ashamed, that I was the one spared
On a cold winter's morning
I awoke to find my heart
Frigid and needing warming
When it all fell apart
I found to my surprise
Her picking the up the shards
And looking into my eyes
She put it back together, and with her own, she guards
Inevitability hit like a train
The time we lost and the moments we had
Seemed pointless in all the pain
Now all we know is how to be sad
You don't love her for her clothes or hair
Not even the jokes she brings
Or the smiles she pretends to wear
But because of the song she sings
That only I can hear

From the Oscar Wilde quote "You dont love someone for their clothes or their fancy car, but because of the song they sing, only you can hear."
