Over Again
OVER AGAIN
Beware!
Sneaks are in the street
On the bus and in our dreams.
Beware! Cause they’ll rob you
And you’ll keep begging.
No they won’t be sued
Beware of them!
Those jeans, sneakers, spiky hair
Sweatshirts hanging on lanky frames
Paired with impish smiles,
I’m sure will steal your heart away.
They are ruthless
So you better lock your heart
But they’ll somehow take it
And you’ll be forced to go and
Claim it back.
You’ll swear about the stars and the moons
So would he but you know
Some other sneak might steal it someday
And then you’ll be off to him
Claiming your heart.
You know you’ll swear about
Life and death over again.

Love feels real as a teen. They swear to live together forever. Soon they breakup and attach themselves to to some other person. I find this funny and sometimes even pitiful. But I know it feels too real in the beginning before it all ends. Here is my effort to highlight this aspect of relationships.
