My Healer
The broken pieces of my heart are a puzzle
Scattered under the bed and throughout the ocean
No-one knows what the final picture looks like
No-one could ever complete it
Three pieces are missing, two are dog-eared, and
One is covered with cat saliva
You washed them
You crawled on hands and knees through
Muck and scum
to find them
You wanted to see the final picture
You were sure it would be beautiful
Now you've found all the pieces but
They don't fit each other
There are four corners
But you never give up
Like a determined 10-year old putting together a
1,000 piece puzzle
You NEVER give up
The broken pieces of my heart are a puzzle
And you're putting it together again
