Clogged Drain
Storm clouds are clustering up
in the sky so high above us
and I just want it to
stop clustering up and just to fall
straight sown so I can fall myself
inside my head because when the
water falls I just cannot stop
thinking about all that I’ve done
but no one’s here to stop me
so here I go just falling
down the little skinny drain
in my head that I cannot keep from
clogging up no matter how hard I try
so I have to wash it out daily
so as I fall I won’t see the muck
that I’ve collected up
so the rain outside helps soften the load
of the work that I have
left hanging on a rope
so come rain come so I
can just keep falling
