"Everything happens for a reason."

I don't know isn’t
an answer.

Everyone says these
three words.
Three words with a
complicated
meaning.

I. Used to refer to the person is
speaking or writing.
Don't. A contraction of 'do' and 'not;'
an oxymoron.
Know. To be aware
of certain facts, opinions, or information.

Alone, three separate meanings.
Together,
something completely
different.

I don't know
is a state of indifference.
I don't know
is the suppression of emotions.
Feelings.
I don't know
is no clear answer.
I don't know
is a state of confusion.

But worst of all.
I don't know
is pain.

I don't know
hurts like hell.
It means what you asked
isn't worthy
of more thought.
It means that the person
didn't think about it
enough
to come up with
anything
better than
'I don't know.'

Every question has
an answer.
Sometimes you just have to
search.

Because
'I don't know’
isn't
an answer.

Ever since this 'answer' was given to me, it has a whole new meaning. Choose your answer wisely. Because that pain...it never goes away.
