No Stars In Sight

He gazed up at the sky
but there were no stars in sight
The fire balls burnt out
Like light bulbs under pressure
The galaxies collided
Two by two
The suns began to spin
Like broken toy tops
The moon howled
And shattered into shards
Earth cowered in fear
Falling out of gravity
Comets soared across
Pitch black skies
Black holes swallowed at them
Sucking up the only light
Everything was was crumbling
The beginning of the end
He gazed up at the sky
but there were no stars in sight
