“Libraries were full of ideas–perhaps the most dangerous and powerful of all weapons.”
― Sarah J. Maas, Throne of Glass

“No. I can survive well enough on my own— if given the proper reading material.”
― Sarah J. Maas, Throne of Glass

I am easily entertained yet hard to impress
I wonder about things that don’t exist (supposedly)
I hear the underlying message of simple words
I see through the eyes of a child and an old man
I want someone to see me as better than I am
I am easily entertained yet hard to impress

I pretend the things that matter, don’t
I feel like I’m meant to be somewhere else
I play with fire, fingertips touching flame
I worry about everything under the sun
I cry too often over uncontrollable things
I am easily entertained yet hard to impress

I understand that the world is not my friend
I say edited versions of my actual thoughts
I dream of harmony with myself
I try to ignore my nightmares
I hope that one day they won’t exist
I am easily entertained yet hard to impress
