Allergy Season
It’s allergy season now.
This means my parents wont question why I’m blowing my nose so much.
They’ll think it’s because we ran out of allergy medication in the bathroom and they won't be concerned when I go through two boxes of tissues in a week.
They will sympathize with me when they look into my red and puffy eyes and they will shake their heads and sigh at the pollen count.
But while they are busy counting pollen,
I’ll be counting tears, and wondering how many nights it takes for someone to drown,
without anyone noticing their gone.
