It’s easy to call yourself
A writer.
I do
Sometimes.
Everyone writes
Cards,
Emails,
Lists,
Notes,
Essays,
Poems,
Stories
That are read
Sometimes
But most often go ignored.
Only some
Get to change the world
With their words;
Only some who can,
Who want to,
Who need to
Actually
Change the world.
But most people
Don’t.
Because we don’t
Get a chance
Or don’t want to
Or don’t think
We need to. 
And I know
Everyone can’t read
Everything
And
Everything can’t
Change the world.
But we can try.
I guess.
Wonder if this will
End up in someone else’s trashcan.
I’m just saying.
