Our little world
Swinging together on a tire
The breeze amused by our innocence
As we tried to go high enough to touch the clouds
I was the queen and he was the king
Of our small little world
Where wishing on a star would come true
Where flowers would never stop blooming
Where the sun would wear shades and smile
Where we bounced on clouds
Like they were trampolines
It was place
Where our dreams would go wild
Without anyone locking them in a cage
Without anyone killing them
Without anyone trying to tame them
It was a place
that flowed rivers of happiness
On which we float away with time
That place slowly began to disappear
as we grew older
We tried to visit that place again
But age had turned it into the dessert land
called reality
