Those Eyes

Those eyes
(oh how they glow like warning flares
in the dead of night)
cut me deeper than
any blade can
(and I let you
carve me until these sheets
are scarlet)
And those lips
(such stubborn gate keepers)
offer me no
comfort
(yet)
But yet
they fill my veins with
lightning
(white hot pain
I will endure again and again)
when they touch mine
