When some people hear it, they think
The sky or the ocean

When I hear it, I think
Layers upon layers of sadness and sorrow

Pain that can only be extinguished by a friend
Not one who gives advice, but one who is just there for you

A tunnel of endless darkness that you wander around aimlessly
At last you see daylight and you run into its warm arms

Only to be shoved into another tunnel
To face challenges after challenges

Going again and again in a mental Merry go round
Falling and wanting to stop but forced to continue

Hope dwindling and soul sucking
Only a friend can give you new life

A hand to help you up
A shoulder to cry on

All these thoughts go through my mind
When I hear blue
