Dream Catcher

Lying in bed all warm under
the covers as I drift off to
sleep.
Safe and sound until the
bed breaks and suddenly I’m
falling from ten stories high
with that sensation only achieved
while I’m lying there
half awake half asleep.
I often wonder what the incredible
heroic force is that catches me everytime
as I fall through the bed.
As thoughts run through my head
the only thing that pops into
my head is that dream catcher
that hangs above me as I sleep.
