my thoughts have started to

tangle like a spider web

and I can no longer follow

its woven strands; they

all lead back to You.

glass lies break and the shards

cut my fingers and spill

blood like messy, red truth.

months flew by and with

each breath I exhaled

a denial of loving You and

as the lies grew 

deeper, I stopped viewing

myself as a mastermind, but

slowly became the most

evil deceiver on earth.

pens froze as my heart thawed

and happiness finally

found me only to be stripped

away with one look in

Your eyes.

people don't just

fall out of love, their

heart simply continue to break

into smalled pieces until

someone decides to put it

back together and

I still do not know whether

You are my hammer or glue.
