Little Boy.
As you know,we all know
The world is full of sin
but right now were gonna talk about
a little boy's next of kin
little boy six years old
dropped off by his mother
his mother says “i can't take care of him,
he will have to be raised by another”
little boy all alone
his father no-where near
he watches his mother walk away
as he wipes away a tear
he goes to live with a stranger
where no-one seems to care
when he goes to bed
he softly cries “this just isn't fair!”
little boy starts to grow
and turns into a teen
tossed from place to place
he has seen things he shouldn’t have seen
teen boy filled with hate
he never kept a friend
because he soon would have to leave
and it would come to a bitter end
a few people tried to love him
but he never stayed for long
tears no longer fell
he says “i have to stay strong”
teen boy turns eighteen
not ready for the world
he takes a bunch of pills
but instead of death he hurled
he saw it as a second chance
but only to be worse not better
he did a bunch of drugs
and soon became a robber
one night he was twenty-four
he broke into a house
having done it before
he tried being quite as a mouse
but while going through some jewelry
the jewel’s made a small sound
a man woke up and grabbed his gun
and was surprised by what he found
a young man badly clothed
he almost took the shot
but instead he looked at him confused
because he wasn't afraid of having been caught
he looked in that young mans eye's
and behind all the hate
he saw a little boy
who needed a twist of fate
instead of giving him death
he gave him a different life
some food, a job, a place to stay
he had him get rid of his knife
that little boy
now free to cry
he has a friend
to whom he never has to say goodbye
hate turned into love
he now has a father
he loves to smile
and with his past he doesn't bother
at fifty years old
he stands with his kids and wife
he kisses his dad on the head
and says “thank you for my new life”
his father now gone
and with a man so old
he falls on ice
and lays there cold
at the hospital they tell him
he only has hours
his family comes in
and they cry over flowers
but again he doesn't die
and now at eighty years old
thirty years more alive
his mouth a little dry from the stories he's told
he drinks a little water
and goes up to bed
he lays down and gets warm
and soon memory’s fill his head
he takes his last breath
and his heart fills with joy
he's come a long way
from being a small little boy.

People have made mistakes in life, and it doesn't mean they are bad people, sometimes just looking at their back story can help you see people for who they really are.
