Attention, Why
Attention, Why?
Have you ever heard somebody say that they’re fat when they’re only 120 pounds
Soaking wet with a brick in each pocket.
What about the I’m so dumb, I’m going to fail this test
Gets a 97.
Or the best one...
I’m so ugly.
In somebody’s eyes you are either beautiful,
Handsome,
Or smoking hot.
Why do people say this?
Why do they need to seek attention?
Is it because they actually are these things
Or
Because they want to receive compliments.
Only They know why they do it.
Some kids are Overweight or slower than other kids in school.
Do the “seekers” realize that they are
Hurting the feelings of other kids by doing this?
The question is why?
Why do people do it?
Does it make them feel good about themselves?
Is it an addiction?
Could it possibly be Somebody’s high?
Attention, is it that important? Is it important that we hurt others in doing this
Why?
Think about the kid who is overweight or slow
Would you want to rub your “Greatness” in his face.
