The Uncle Above
Sometimes I wonder if your watching over me
You promised that you would
I wish you were still here guiding me
You never asked and I never told
but you were like my father figure
Sometimes I wonder when I’ll see you again
I miss you
Come back or visit?
I know its impossible but we can try
It’s been three years
it seems like it was just yesterday
We want you here, we need you here
You ended your life for an unknown insecurity
that not many others saw
You’ll forever be an all star in my eyes
I miss the days you would fake sleep
holding me in your arms and call me your teddy bear
Or the days we would tell each other horrible jokes
All of the memories, how i wish they would come back
All that i can do is wait for the day we’re reunited
