Remember Some Things Are Not as They Seem
Remember me, thy sweetest friend
thy well-wisher in timeless bend
When I slash the whiteness of
innocent minds, the long-lived
Sobs of severing kinds, and breach
the tangle of forlorn youth
With newly bred tides, and soft
fingered truth
Ne'er forget the moments we've
spent; the dreams we've conceived;
the troubles we've lent
As for acceptance- is it not what it
seems?
For even you, with silver lined
dreams, retain the eminent cries of
regret, from marks you've tried and
labored to set
As for acceptance- forget lasting
dreams
Remember some things are not as
they seem
Remember some things are not as
they seem
