Lost in The Music
Excitement of being on the gym floor, hearing the crowd cheering me and my team on.
Anticipation of waiting for the music to begin blasting through the speakers.
Fear traveling through my body, praying I don’t miss a single beat.
Then when the music does start,
I feel the thrill of all of us moving in sync,
the happiness that comes from knowing I’ve worked so hard.
Content, knowing that I’ve accomplished what I came here to do.
Pride from dancing my heart out and leaving it all on the gym floor.
As soon as we’ve fought as hard as we could possibly fight,
we walk off.
