If everyone counted
If everyone treated everyone like everyone counted
Then the world would spin in harmony
And the thing about it is the hate we’ve amounted
Is taking innocent lives of the people of the free
And if we go look back in history, sure it was rough
But we’ve come so far and we can’t give up
And if everyone treated everyone like everyone counted
Then I wouldn’t have to write this piece
And if everyone realized the hate we’ve amounted
And stop the hate then we’d be at peace
And everyone would matter
And no one would cry
And the world would be gathered
And let out a great big sigh
Because everyone would be treated like everyone counted
And there’d be no need to cry
And the world would make sense
And no one would ache
And the words that you’d say
Wouldn’t feel like a break
To the esteem that I’m desperately trying to keep
But if we go on like this then we’ll just break the peace
Although it’s already broken
For this I am certain
But if everyone treated everyone like everyone counted
Then this world would be a better place to be

It is important for everyone to understand that we are all human. No matter what you have, or where you come from, or what you look like, we are all the same. At the end of this life, no one will be better than anyone else, and all the things that people thought were important, won't be recognized. Everyone deserves to be appreciated, and to be treated like they matter.
