Everyone complains that the cold sucks,
Being cold,
while you’re playing in the snow
for too long.
If you get cold enough,
you start to feel kind of
numb.
The cold
isn’t much of a problem.
Then
it’s time to come inside.
The worst part,
is not
becoming numb.
It is
going back into
the warmth
of your home.
When you start to
feel
your toes again.
And it burns.
But once you’ve forgotten
how bad
the burning was,
you’ll go back outside.
