Going Insane
Not the lives of the fallen
Nor the widows of the lost
Neither the collapse of the world
Or the those who breathe
Will make me feel any different
The population of the winless
Heartless, fearless mob
They go insane and feelings
Lay down, by their mind
Not the child in his bed
Nor the freak who craves death
Neither the lover so entwined
Or the callous who cries
Will make me feel any different
Mother’s cry for son’s affection
Son’s cry for father’s acceptance
Father’s cry for daughter’s protection
Daughter’s cry for mother’s adoration
Lay it all down
The sun is breathing in
Lay it all down
I’m bereaving
Lay it all down
As I’m going insane
Lay it all down
The loveless are feeling
