What is a dream?
Is it how our minds cope,
When we are left barren, without hope?
What is a dream?
Is it simply our subconscious at play,
Or is it showing us something deeper, and darker than day?
What is a dream?
Is it what we want to be reality,
Free of reason or morality?
Was it a dream?
With a fire breathing dragon,
And wings attached to a speeding wagon
Was it a dream?
Jumping on clouds of candy,
Swimming in a river of of brandy.
Was it a dream?
What is a dream?
Was it a dream?
Where nothing is as it seems.
