You (I Do)
I could spend hours simply looking at you,
at your eyes and at your smile;
at the way your cheeks turn crimson red
when you blush every once in a while.
You're my light at the end of the tunnel,
my one and only way.
I'd give up anything and everything
just to wake up next to you every day.
It's so much more than your appearance,
more than the way you look.
It's the way you can entrance me
and amuse me like a good book.
Everything about you feels right,
like every corner of you was made just for me.
From your tastes in music to the food you like,
it all screams, "It's meant to be!"
So maybe one day I'll build up the courage
to ask you for your hand.
I'll get down on one knee,
while we listen to your favorite band.
Your face will light up
and your eyes will swell,
with tears of joy
that serve to compell.
I'll anxiously wait for an answer
because now it's up to you.
I pray to the whole universe
that you will say, "I do!"
