Desperation

As I sit alone in my room,
I wonder what went wrong.
Was I not good enough,
Or did I talk too much.
As I sit here crying in the darkness,
my thoughts eat me alive.
This is all my fault,
and there’s nothing I can do to fix it.
I hear my mom say “Come down for dinner”,
but any more I can’t even stand food.
Maybe that’s it, that’s why he left.
I wasn’t the perfect Barbie doll figure.
I have decided I must not eat until I’m that thin,
I would do anything to have him again.
He was my sun and sky,
My Everything.
