Insanity
Have you ever wondered if the world is fake,
Reality unreal
The smiles you shared, the tears you shed, the dreams that built you up,
Are nonexistent,
As if you lived a lie
The trees you touched, the words that echoed, the road on which you ran upon,
Have all faded into darkness,
Now upon a foreign land
A place which you cannot reach,
Never to be seen
Reality at once is lost,
But was it ever found?

I wrote this piece about the world because sometimes I feel out of touch with the world. I believe this poem does propose an interesting question though. What if your past never truly existed?
